Comfort the Grieving

Sometimes we don't see friends but want to be there for them when they lose a loved one. This website was created to bridge the communication gap by facilitating communication for families who have lost a family member. They need the support of the family of God but often don't have time or energy to notify friends and acquaintences and may not have phone numbers or e-mail addresses.

Many have learned of the loss of a friend's loved one after the funeral. They wished they would have known about the loss before the funeral because they wanted to be there for the family.

If you find yourself agreeing with one or both of these scenarios, we encourage you to click the signup button in the left column and give us your name and e-mail address.

This service is not a ministry of any church but is staffed by volunteers. We will submit funeral announcements as quickly after we receive them as is possible. If you don't receive a funeral announcement, it's because the family didn't know about this website or didn't want an announcement sent.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows." II Corinthians 1:2-3
